Someone forgot to tell the Rock defense to show up. Kaisey Beirnes opened the scoring for the Rock. Before the Knighthawks scored five straight goals. That is all folks. The Rock never recovered from the early onslaught. As Brandon Miller was pulled for Nick Rose. Trailing 5-2 after the first quarter. The Knighthawks added three more goals to open the second quarter. Taking an 8-2 lead into halftime. Matt Vinc made 49 saves.

For the Rock, Kaisey Beirnes had a four point night. With three goals and one assist. Kevin Crowley 1g 2a. Did not look comfortable. However,  that is to be expected with new teammates and game plan.
