Sounds like Halifax is coming

Halifax has an October 31 deadline to join Philadelphia and the San Diego Seals in time for the 2019 Season according to a previous  interview with the commissioner.

Where the hell is Halifax, Canada? I’ll tell you where, it is an Atlantic Ocean Port located in eastern Canada. Halifax is actually the provincial capital of Nova Scotia. The place is gorgeous and has a HUGE maritime history, but it is mainly known for the Citadel, a star-shaped for built in the 1850s. That is your history lesson for the day lol. They have one of the best junior hockey teams in all of Canada, the Halifax Mooseheads. The Mooseheads play in the Scotiabank Centre, which is located in the heart of downtown, holds a capacity of 11,000 people. NLL has added two American teams and why wouldn’t they add one in Canada? The NLL commissioner is the absolute man! Adding a team here would be amazing the place is beautiful! It has one major team in a perfect location. After researching Halifax, I’m sold in having a team there. Maybe we will have an announcement later this week!

Canada 19 USA 6

US Indoor team got taken to the wood shed tonight. Team USA was simply over matched by Team Canada.  This is what happens when you put a team of field all stars into the box.

At least NLL season will be here soon.

The organization has decided on a name – or, to say it better, the name – that San Diegans will embrace for years to come. But before the name is revealed, now’s your chance to tell the team what you think it chose.

On Tuesday, San Diego NLL launched a Guess-the-Name Contest presented by the San Diego Union-Tribune. Fans will be able to submit three guesses of what they think the name will be. Each person who correctly submits the name the team uses will be entered to win one of 10 prizes. The grand-prize winner will receive a personalized team jersey and gift cards to local restaurants. Nine runners-up will win StringKing complete lacrosse sticks.

Philadelphia  Name the Team.

The franchise has three finalist for the team name Fire, Founders, and Wings. Fans can select their choice online through Nov. 13, after which time a winning name and logo will be revealed.

We believe the team name has already been decided.  Comcast-Spectacor would have a mutiny on their hands if the franchise was not named the Wings. Contest ends Nov 13 according to this article.
