Interview with the Commissioner

Where can we expect the NLL to expand to next?

Sakiewicz: We love Ohio. Ohio is a dynamic lacrosse market. We’re looking at Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. The New York market is very high on our list. We have several interested potential investors; in the Long-Island market particularly, for the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum. I wouldn’t be shocked if the New York market was in the next round of expansion.

Our Thoughts

The NLL NY team will be better off out on Lon Island as it helps keep cost inline.  Putting a team in Ohio really? That has failure written all over it in our opinion.  We do not see any of those cities supporting a second tier sport.

With the game tied 3-3 in the second quarter, the Rush scored the next seven goals to put the game away before halftime. We hope the rest of the league is watching because the Rush look to be a step ahead and in some cases two steps ahead of the rest of the league.
