New York Brand unveil February 17

GF Sports will unveil the name and logo of the New York NLL team on February 17.

Lance Basler becomes assistant general manager and director of lacrosse operations for the New York (Saints?). Basler has experience with the US National teams.

Will be interesting to see if the New York (Saints) try the Team USA approach when building the roster.

The Bandits rebound nicely from the loss the night before and take out their anger on the Black Wolves. Corey Small had four goals and three assists and Dhane Smith had two goals and nine assists to led the Bandits. Matt Vinc made 39 saves for the Bandits

Longan Schuss scores the game winner 0:44 into overtime for the Warriors.  Eric Penny made 44 saves for the Warriors ( Bold did not start and was not on the bench and Bold was placed on Injured Reserve.)  Ryan Benesch led the Mammoth with two goals and four assists.

Vancouver improves to 2-5 and Colorado falls to 1-4.

Rock use seven goal four quarter to clip Wings.  Rob Hellyer scored the game winning goal with 2:59 remaining. The Wings looked good for three quarters and just ran out of gas.  Rob Hellyer led the Rock with three goals and four assists. Nick Rose made 40 saves.

Kevin Crowley led the Wings with four goals and six assists. Doug Buchan made 33 saves.

The Wings powerplay still needs work as the Wings managed to score only one goal on a five minute major for high sticking to Toronto’s Kieran McAdrle.

Toronto improves to 5-1 and Philadelphia falls to 0-6.
