Nine goal second half propel Rush to NLL Cup Champions. Jeff Shatler was named NLL Finals MVP with a four goals and one assist performance. Mark Matthews had eight assists.  Evan Kirk made 37 saves.  The Rush claim their third league championship in four years.

With Rochester leading 4-3 in the second quarter. The Rush went on a seven goal run and proceeded to put the game out of reach.  The Rush were led by Robert Church with four goals and two assists. Evan Kirk made 36 saves.  Game 2 is set for Saturday June 2 at 8 PM ET in Rochester.

Ben McIntosh and Ryan Keenan put the Roughnecks in an early 2-0 and it was too much for the Roughnecks to recover from. Rush led 8-5 at halftime and a late comeback by the Roughnecks fell short.  Mark Matthews had two goals and five assists for the Rush. Robert Church and Ben McIntosh each had three goals and three assists.  Curtis Dickerson led the Roughnecks with six goals and four assists.  The Rush now face the Knighthawks for the Champions Cup.

Saskatchewan improves to 14-4 and Calgary falls to 8-10.

Jeff Shattler opened the scoring for the Rush. Only to see the Swarm score the next four goals to take the lead. A lead the Swarm would not relinquish. The Rush offense struggled scoring only four goals through three quarters before scoring six goals in the fourth quarter, which was too little too late.

Lyle Thompson led the Swarm with five goals and Mike Poulin made 39 saves.

Georgia improves to 9-7 and Saskatchewan falls to 13-4

Saskatchewan improves to 12-3 and Colorado falls to 10-5.
