We are glad to see the NLL expanding. However, is it too much too soon?

The article also talks about expansion. Halifax (2019) and North California (2020 NBA warriors) maybe.

Sakiewicz says two confirmed teams for 2019-20 feature a fifth Canadian club for the league.

He said the new team that’s already committed for 2020-21 is “potentially” in California, and would be a “great rival for Vancouver.” He declined to elaborate, but there’s been scuttlebutt about the Golden State Warriors being interested in an NLL property.

The Vancouver Lacrosse Club has entered the free agent pool signing Owen Barker, Jordan McBride, Colton Porter, Zack Porter, Austin Jerhoff, Cody Teichroeb, Tony Tremblay, Justin Salt (1 year) and Dan Lomas (2 years).

Ken Thomas  Assistant General Manager, Rory MacDade and Clayton Richardson have been named Assistant Coaches and Dan Perreault Assistant Video Coach.

Now they better do something about that roster.

Welcome to Vancouver boys.

According to Steve Ewen the Vancouver NLL franchise will name Dan Richardson GM and former NLL player Chris Gill as head coach. Richardson has extensive Western Lacrosse Association experience.  Gill has worked with the Colorado Mammoth.

Thank God Doug Locker is gone.
