NHL Canucks buy Stealth

Well that was quick.  The Canucks should provide the Stealth with  stable ownership. Something the Stealth lacked since coming into the league. The Stealth will also play  home games out of the Rogers Arena. ( Which should double attendance we hope. )

Plus the franchise will receive a new name and logo.  ( Thank God)

This might explain why the Stealth have been so quiet.  We are honestly shocked Denise, hung on as long as she has.

Miles Thompson scored the game winner at 8:23 of the fourth quarter for the Swarm. Mike Poulin made 20 saves.

Hopefully Stealth ownership makes the necessary changes right the ship.

Georgia improves to 10-7 and Vancouver finishes the season at 2-16.

The Roughnecks scored seven goals in the second quarter and led the Stealth 11-6 at halftime. The Roughnecks came out in the third quarter and outscored the Stealth 10-2 and led 21-8 after three quarters.

Curtis Dickerson led the Roughnecks with four goals and eight assists.

How 3,653 fans sat through this game we may never know.

The Stealth led the Roughnecks 7-6 at halftime only to get outscored 6-2 over the final thirty minutes.  The Roughnecks were led by Curtis Dickerson with three goals and five assists. Christian DelBianco made 43 saves.  Corey Small and Pat Saunders each had two goals and two assists for the Stealth.

The win snapped an eight game losing streak for the Stealth.  The Mammoth blew a 12-10 fourth quarter lead. Tony Malcom led the Stealth with two goals and three assists. Eric Penny made 44 saves.  Jacob Ruest led the Mammoth with three goals and two assists.

Vancouver improves to 2-12 and Colorado falls to 9-4.

Vancouver tied the game at 8-8 1:19 into the fourth quarter on a goal by Joel McCready. Colorado got back to back goals from Robert Hope and Stephen Keogh to put the Mammoth in the driver seat. Nine different players scored at least one goal to pace the Mammoth. Dillon Ward made 39 saves.

The Stealth drew a season low crowd of 3,013

Colorado improves to 9-3 and Vancouver falls to 1-12.
