We doubt the fans will be as patient as Richardson, and that will lead to declining attendance as the season goes on.

Box Score

Attendance 12,005

New name check. New GM check. New coaching staff check. New players check. However, the Warriors are still playing like the Stealth. Shawn Evans had four goals and seven assists to lead the Bandits. Matt Vinc made 38 saves. Curiously we do not see Corey Small listed on the game sheet.  Bandits attendance 12,005 also creep up this week.

Buffalo improves to 2-1 and Vancouver falls to 1-2.

We stated in earlier posts about our concerns about the Warriors attendance. Looks like we were not the only ones.  The Warriors announced a crowd of 9,902 for the home opener.  A few posts down we published pictures calling that 9,902 number into question.

Now a local writer in Vancouver has written the following

It looked like they had about 6,000 in the building for a 14-8 loss to the Roughnecks.

You can find the full article HERE

Maybe Vancouver isn’t a good sports town or more likely Vancouver is NOT THE LACROSSE HOTBED, the locals would have you believe.
