Tweet Here The chant by the Philly fans after the PA announcer made a comment  is classic Philly.  We have heard a lot worse sitting in the 700 level at the old  Veteran Stadium and the Spectrum and the MCI center at a Power game and the Coliseum on Long Island at Saints games.

Just another example of people looking for a reason to be offended and the PC culture destroying society.  Remember when people were not so easily offended? They were the good old days.

Who gave Mike French the keys to the Wings war room? All the Wings were missing was the usual Cornell pick.

Chris Cloutier should step in and make an immediate impact. The rest look to be projects. Only two of the Wings eight picks were Canadian born. The other six are US born and trained field players. If Paul Day and Landon Miller are going to try the Team USA approach, we expect the growing pains to be significant.

1-2 Chris Cloutier

2-14 Trevor Baptiste

2-25 James Leary

3-28 Justin Guterding

3-39 Kyle Staveley

5-51 Christian Cuccinello

5-54 Connor Keating

6-64 Michael RexRode

  • Staats goes one

  • The real fun starts at three
  • We see trades coming ( Be careful PD )
  • Will the hacks at the NLL office update the league website in a timely manner tonight?
  • Will the draft stream crap out?

Guess Jim Else wasn’t around back in the day when  message board posters or RA would break news long before the league made it official.  Its always amusing to watch these hacks meltdown.

We told you the NLL offseason is never boring.

For a league struggling to remain relevant and wants to be considered major league  in the US. One group owning two franchises is a step back for the NLL and screams minor league. Remember the Columbus Landsharks? Or how about  the Ottawa / Montreal / Toronto  ownership under Brad Watters?

While we wish Halifax success both on and off the floor, we will see how Halifax is doing in five years.

Whats next? Joe Tsai buying an expansion team to play out of the Barclays Center.  The NBA Warriors buying NLL expansion franchise.

Nick’s trying to fill the NLL coffers before Trump crashes the US economy.

The league finally got to around updating the transaction page. Hopefully the league will post the protected players list in a timely manner.  Reminder the protected lists are due Monday July 2nd.
